Applicants are invited to apply for this exciting church-based training programme, combining hands-on ministry experience with the in-depth theological training which Union School of Theology is known for (available at GDip or MTh level).
Christchurch Newport’s heart is to be a church together, to make Christ known, to all. We desire to play our part in the training and development of emerging church leaders and workers. It is hoped that this partnership with Union will equip the next generation to love, serve and lead within the local church (through church planting, pastoring, preaching and other ministry areas).
Those on the training programme will be part of a Union Learning Community and will serve as church interns/ trainees, gaining practical and administrative experience in specific areas of ministry and serving alongside experienced ministers. Particular responsibilities, financial support/ remuneration and the duration of the internship will be tailored to each applicant. This programme is open to men and women.
If you’re interested, apply below.
N.B. September 2024 applications close on Wednesday 31st July 2024.
(Please note, successful applicants will be invited to interview with Christchurch Newport and should apply for the relevant course at Union School of Theology).
