The Two Debtors

Christchurch gathers every month to feast together. When we do so, we pause our regular preaching plan and take an unfiltered look at the Saviour. 

It’s a wonderful time together. If you’re curious about Jesus or would like to know more about our church, you’re welcomed to join with us for Eating After the Meeting.

This past Sunday, pastor Pete Greasley took us to Luke 7: 36-49 and showed us Jesus’ meal with Simon the Pharisee. Present that day was a notorious prostitute; could God forgive her sins? And is there any hope for the religious, for Simon? 

Sometimes those ‘closest’ to the church are in greatest need of grace.
