Pentecost, what does it mean?

The Universal Church celebrated Pentecost Sunday on June 5th. To many people, Pentecost means something that may or may not be closely aligned to the events recorded for us in Acts 2. Indeed, on that very first post-Ascension Pentecost, the question that those present asked in 2:12 was “What does this mean?” 

Bob McCan opens up Acts 2 to try and answer that question, starting with an overview of the Old Testament Feast of Weeks/Harvest which is fulfilled in Jesus on the glorious day he sent the Holy Spirit from on high in fulfilment of the Father’s promise.
