Builders and Discoverers Swimming Party

We’re really excited to invite all our Conquerors and Discoverers children to a fun afternoon of swimming and a picnic tea at Risca Leisure Centre on Sunday 18th January 3–5 pm. It’s going to be a lovely chance for the children to have some fun together and for families to spend a bit of relaxed time with each other.
 
To make things a bit easier, it would really help if the children could arrive “swim ready”. This just means popping their swimming costumes on under their clothes before they arrive, and bringing a towel and any goggles, etc., they might want to use.

For safeguarding, we’re asking mums to go with the girls and dads to go with the boys in the changing rooms. We understand that this won’t work for every family, and we don’t want anyone to miss out. If this is tricky for you, just give the church office a ring, and we’ll happily sort something out.

After the swim, we’ll head to a party room for a relaxed picnic tea. There’s no charge, but please bring a picnic for you and your child.
 
Space in the room is a bit limited, so this event is just for children in Conquerors and Discoverers. Unfortunately, siblings in other classes won’t be able to join us this time. We hope you understand — we’re already thinking about future events where we can include everyone.
