Lights. Neon. Action.
After telling you all about our Light Party for the past few weeks, we thought you might like to know how it went...
On Tuesday 31st October, 70 children attended our Christchurch Light Party. It was an amazing opportunity for our church kids and their friends to come together to celebrate ‘Jesus, light of the world’. Jesus has conquered darkness and that’s worth celebrating!
It was a fun filled evening of food, games, craft, face paints and kids worship. We had a short talk from Lewis about being clothed in Jesus’ light and then finished with a neon lights disco.
Everyone made such an effort to dress up or wear bright clothes- including the mums and dads!
It was a really wonderful time together that definitely couldn't have been pulled off without our fantastic team who came in to help set up on Tuesday as well as volunteering to help run the different activities, so a big thank you too to everyone who was involved!
