The Privilege of Prayer

One of the great privileges we have as God's children is to pray together.

Every fortnight at 7.30 on a Monday evening we gather for an hour in the church building to pray.

We pray that, individually and as a church, we will continue to grow in our knowledge and love of our Saviour; and we pray that we will be effective witnesses to those who don't yet know Jesus. We pray that Jesus will make himself known to people through the various activities in the church. Over time we will pray for every area of service.

And there will be occasions when we will follow Paul's injunction in 1 Timothy chapter 2 and pray for political leaders.

It's also been a real joy to pray for requests that come through from the church app. But even more than that, people who are, as yet, unsaved have welcomed us praying for them. What a privilege!

We meet next on Monday 2nd February when some of the time will be given to praying for our gospel communities and our musicians and choir.

The following prayer meeting on 16th February we'll give some time to praying for The Way course we'll be running in the lead up to Easter and for the Teens weekend away in March.

Please feel free to join us.
