The Giving Tree
Our mercy ministries team exists to be in our city, sharing the hope we have in the gospel with those most in need in our community. This can be practically by offering a food parcel, relationally, extending warmth and friendship at Wednesday Warm or offering debt and money management advice to those in financial difficulty.
Throughout this work, relationships are being built and the Giving Tree is another way to continue to strenthen these relationships between our community and the church family.
This year we'll be putting up the Giving Tree again, with coded labels on it for some of the people the team have come across this year who maybe don't have the finances to afford christmas gifts or who are alone at Christmas. Here's how it works:

- Pick up a label from the tree this Sunday and place a bauble in it's place.
- Take it home and buy a gift for the person identified on the label.
- Attache the luggage label onto the present so we know who the recipient should be!
- Bring the gift back by Sunday 10th December and leave it under the Giving Tree.
