Homegrown Song
This Sunday we'll be learning a new homegrown song, why not have a listen below before then?
Verse 1
Come let us sing of the triumph of our king
The Joy of all eternity descended to our misery
God as a man walks the path we could not take
The better Adam conquers for his people’s sake
Verse 2
Come hear his cry it is finished from the tree
The light of life extinguished
As he bore our sins at Calvary
The snake claimed the night
But was crushed upon the dawn
For Jesus Christ is risen now and evermore
Chorus
Praise oh my soul the Saviour died
Paid with his blood but now alive
Raised with the power that gives us life
I know my redeemer lives
Verse 3
Come hear the Lamb roar the Lion’s victory
The gates of hell lay ruined
As he sets his ransomed sinners free
Death damned to death
And the church is raised alive
For Jesus Christ has done it all that’s his is mine
Verse 4
Come all who thirst all the burdened all the weak
Our king now ‘throned victorious
Has perfect power reserved for us
Enter his rest and press on until the day
All sorrow will be over when his people reign
