October Prayer Meeting
Please note the change of date for the October prayer meeting. We will be meeting on Monday 21 October at 8pm for an hour.
I'm sure that, like me, you have been really encouraged by what you have seen and heard over the last couple of Sunday mornings. At our Harvest service, Jonathan Thomas spoke about overflowing with generosity and how we see evidences of this overflow in our mercy ministries.
Last Sunday as people were baptised, we heard how many found saving faith by first encountering God's people at CAP or the Foodbank or Wednesday Warm. We are so grateful, not only to all those who give their time to these things, but also those who give their time to Mothers and Toddlers and Legacy.
At our next prayer meeting we will spend time praying for our mercy ministries and also we will pray for those in the church working faithfully in other charities aiming to bring hope to all sorts of people.
It would be good to pray for specific issues mercy ministries and charities are currently facing, but also that Christ will be exalted and many will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
Whilst we would encourage you to join us if possible, whether you're able to join us or not, please feel free to forward any prayer request you have - whatever the issue. It will be good to pray into that situation.
