Join our Shoebox Wrapping Party
We'll be holding our Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Wrapping Party on Saturday, 15th November (12–2 pm), at the back of the main hall.
Bring along the gifts you want to include in the box as well as your own shoebox, or pick up an official Operation Christmas Child box (available from the church office). We'll provide Christmas wrapping paper to decorate the boxes. Only the outside of the box needs to be wrapped, not the gifts inside. We'll also provide writing paper to include a short letter or drawing for the child who will receive their box.
At the end of the event, all the completed boxes will be left at the church to be collected and taken to an Operation Christmas Child collection point for delivery.
Please make the suggested donation of £5 to cover project costs before you arrive.
There will also be a craft table where children can make a small Christmas tree ornament to take home and hang on their own tree.
Brickworks will be open for all your caffeine needs — and Jack assures me there will be some festive treats on the menu for little shoebox-packing elves too! ??
If you are unable to attend, you can of course just bring a completed shoebox to the church by Sunday, 16th November.
