Teens 12-01-24

It's a new year, and a new look to Teens, in that we have split the large group into two, with Senior Teens meeting on alternate Friday evenings at the church whilst the younger Teens continue to meet after Epic on a Friday night.

This Friday between the table tennis, badminton, football, 4 square, hide and seek, board games, and colouring, we considered our position in the vast expanse of the Cosmos. Looking at how an amazing Creator God may take an interest in us, and seeks a relationship with us.

The video to help out conversations is called Indescribable by Louise Giglio, we watched a trimmed 8 minute version to get things going, but the full 40 minute version can be found here :

We would encourage you to watch this with your teens at home together and consider asking these deeper questions. Some of the teens who were recently baptised mentioned this video and others as being really helpful in their thinking about that relationship with God, and where we fit in to all of this!

Once again thank you for the loan of your teenagers for a few hours on a Friday night, they constantly make us smile, laugh and are an encouragement that in this troubled world there is a light shining bright!
